Hi there - great to read the Dispatch each time it arrives! Now, I have personal experience of MEASLES, and thought it might be of interest.

As a 4 year old, a had measles. There was no vaccine in those days. It affected my eyes, I had to wear spectacles every day. You can imagine the torments from other children at school. At 7 I underwent experimental surgery to correct the squint. It was successful although as an adult, I have to have a prismatic lens for one eye, costs about 500 pounds every few years as I age. Measles weakens the immune system so I have suffered from bad side effects to any medication all my life. I am allergic to many modern drugs, including penicillin. I also suffer from photophobia. So, why am I telling you this? Simple really GET YOUR KIDS VACCINATED OTHERWISE THEY WILL BLAME YOU ALL THEIR LIVES FOR THEIR SUFFERING FROM GETTING MEASLES!!
